Every year, thousands of minor collisions happen in parking lots and driveways often because obstacles are out of sight. Whether it’s a hidden post, a low curb, or even a pedestrian, parking without proper assistance can be risky. With the right technology, you can eliminate those blind spots and park with confidence every time.

Since launching our latest Beep and Park technology, we’ve received several calls through the Valeo Service Technical Hotline about the angle ring positioning on the sensors.

The Beep and Park sensors work by sending out ultrasonic pulses to detect obstacles. When something is in the path of these pulses, part or all of the signal bounces back to the sensor, triggering an alert.

If the sensor isn’t placed correctly within the angle ring, it can cause the system to send out false alarms. To avoid this, make sure the angle ring is positioned properly during installation.
